Expansion of specialty fiber capacities

Lenzing puts the focus on stable and profitable growth as well as an improvement of the ecological footprint of the textile and nonwovens industries by expanding the production of specialty fibers. 

The decision to build a state-of-the-art lyocell plant with a capacity of 100,000 tons in Prachinburi (Thailand) is the next logical step to achieve this goal.

 In the third quarter, Lenzing chose Wood Plc as a general contractor for detailed engineering, purchasing and construction management and supervision.
